PRINCIPLES
INTEGRITY
Integrity is the foremost duty of the chartered accountant and the statutory auditor. It requires stating what is, attesting what has been verified, and declining what cannot be substantiated. FIDALYA holds itself to this standard in formulating its opinions as in conducting its engagements.
RIGOUR
Accounting, audit, tax and valuation are governed by exacting professional standards. Rigour, as we understand it, means mastery of Moroccan and international frameworks, full traceability of procedures performed, and prudence in the formulation of conclusions and tax recommendations.
trustwortiness
The firm’s loyalty to its clients extends beyond the formal scope of any single engagement. Whether in an accounting assignment, a tax advisory mandate or a valuation, FIDALYA is committed to lasting relationships, honouring its word well beyond contractual obligations and avoiding any situation that could compromise the trust placed in it.
III
OUR PRACTICE
— 01
Accounting and Financial Management
Beyond the production of financial statements, the firm provides business owners with an informed reading of their company: reliability of period-end closings, quality of management reporting, and anticipation of tax and social deadlines. For companies that do not yet have a CFO profile in-house, FIDALYA also serves as outsourced chief financial officer on a part-time basis.
— 02
Tax Advisory
Tax strategy is built upstream — through the safeguarding of filing positions and the structuring of transactions — and defended downstream, during audits, amicable settlements and litigation. The firm operates in French and Arabic, before the tax authorities and alongside partner counsel before the courts.
— 03
Audit and Assurance
Statutory audit mandates for companies subject to certification requirements; contractual audit engagements, limited reviews and agreed-upon procedures commissioned by shareholders, banks or international development institutions — AFD, World Bank, European Union, AfDB, IsDB, EBRD. The rigour of international audit standards, without the burden of a large firm.
— 04
Valuation and Transactions
Business valuation using asset-based, discounted cash flow and comparable methods; buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence; support for capital transactions in coordination with legal and banking advisors. The firm acts for sellers, buyers and minority investors alike.
